Description:
URDB had a goal of making it easier for their users to record and submit world records. As a result, we had the complicated task translating a long list of actions broadly defined as choosing, capturing and submitting records into a mobile context. To maintain a positive user experience we minimized the number of actions that a user committed to get to submission.
Key Features:
Record Search Validation – First search for a record you would like to attempt so if it already exists, a majority of the submission form is auto-filled. If the record doesn’t exist, you have the option of starting from scratch writing out the criteria and description of the world record.
Attach Media – In order to document your record, you can attach a photo or video from within the application.
Custom Video Recorder – To make it easier for you to capture time-related records, we built a custom camera with a stopwatch and timer right on the video screen. This way, you have access to a stopwatch or timer as you’re recording a video of your attempt to make it simpler for you to document your record.
