Yipit lets users consolidate all their favorite daily deals, like Groupon and Living Social, into one easy to use app. Customization of the application ensures that users only receive those deals they are interested in receiving. The built in map makes it easier to visualize deal locations, and allows for current location detection. Yipit consistently finds over 30,000 deals a month, making it one of the most complete deal aggregator applications.

What we did:
Our goal for developing the Yipit application was to produce a personalized and comprehensive deal aggregating application. By building a custom overlay we were able to facilitate the switch between table view and map view, making the user experience easy and fluid. We also used push notification and custom core location integration to support Yipit’s interactive map. We accomplished the build using our in-house user interface library, and our in-house developed framework, Restkit.
